Privacy Policy

TaskSlot works without an account, advertising identifier, analytics SDK, or developer-operated server. It does not collect, sell, share, or track personal data.

Short version

Calendar and Reminders information is handled on your device. The developer never receives its contents.

Calendar and Reminders

With permission, TaskSlot reads Apple Calendar events and open Apple Reminders tasks so it can show availability and create linked time blocks. This information is processed on the device through Apple’s EventKit framework. The developer does not receive Calendar or Reminders content.

TaskSlot writes a small link marker into calendar events it creates. The marker contains local and synced EventKit identifiers needed to reconnect the event to its original reminder. These identifiers remain in your Calendar account and are not sent to the developer.

Data collection and tracking

TaskSlot has no analytics, advertising, tracking, account system, or developer-operated network service. The developer does not collect diagnostic, usage, contact, calendar, reminder, or location data through the app.

Optional tips

Optional one-time tips are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive your payment details. TaskSlot verifies Apple’s purchase transactions on your device and saves transaction identifiers locally to remember your supporter heart. This information is not sent to the developer. Every planning feature remains free.

Preferences and support

Planning hours, duration presets, and calendar visibility are saved locally using app preferences. If you contact support by email, the information you voluntarily provide is handled by that service. Do not include private calendar or reminder contents. Website hosting providers may process request logs under their own policies.

Your choices

  • Calendar and Reminders access can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.
  • You can delete TaskSlot-created events in Calendar.
  • You can delete TaskSlot from your device.
  • Calendar and Reminders data remains subject to the sync, backup, and retention choices of the accounts configured on your device.

Changes

This policy may be updated when TaskSlot behavior changes. The updated policy will be posted here with a new last-updated date.
